Clergy

All Episcopal clergy (deacons, priests and bishops) who are resident in Pennsylvania, or Lutheran or Moravian pastors serving an Episcopal congregation or diocese in Pennsylvania, are eligible for participation in the programs of The Clergy Assurance Fund, and remain eligible for some benefits even after leaving Pennsylvania.

Enrollment

Enrollment in our programs is a very simple process. If you are ordained as a Deacon, Priest or Bishop in The Episcopal Church and if you live or are canonically resident in Pennsylvania, or if you are a Lutheran or Moravian Pastor serving an Episcopal congregation or diocese in Pennsylvania, simply follow this bridge.

Change Policy Information

It is important that we are always able to contact you since, even if you leave Pennsylvania, you remain eligible for at least some of our programs. If you move or if any contact information changes, follow this bridge to the form that you can use to notify us of the changes.

Additional Coverage

If you wish to obtain additional insurance coverage at very competitive rates (rates that are highly subsidized from our earnings on investments), call or email the office for a rate quotation, then follow this bridge to the application form.

Beneficiary Designation

Use this form to tell us who will receive the death benefit when you die. You may designate any natural person/s, religious or charitable institutions, or trusts for the benefit of the foregoing as Primary or Contingent Beneficiaries, and you can change these designations at any time by following this bridge.

Wellness Fund Assistance

The Fund for Clergy and Clergy Family Wellness provides assistance with medical expenses, counseling, and other un-reimbursable expenses for the insured cleric and family members. Follow this bridge to apply for this assistance.

Spousal Death Benefits

If your spouse or other acknowledged life partner dies, you may be eligible for the Spousal Death Benefit of $5,000. Follow this bridge for further instructions.
